To enroll in our judo classes at Judo KC – DDD Judo, you need to meet a few prerequisites. Firstly, participants must be at least 8 years old. No prior judo experience is necessary, but a basic level of physical fitness is recommended.  Students are required to have an AAU Athlete membership before being allowed to participate.  Please be aware that AAU performs a background screening on all adults prior to granting a membership.  A judo gi (uniform), is not required to start but one can be purchased through our studio or from any reputable martial arts supplier. Lastly, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential for all participants.
